KIFA, or Kent Island Federation of Arts, was founded in 1963 as a small non-profit community organization, built on making the arts accessible to Kent Island and the surrounding environs.

Maureen has instructed in Stevensville for 18 years and guides beginners and advanced level students for painting in oil, acrylic or other medium with one-on-one instruction for techniques as students selct their own subject matter.

Theresa Schram will be starting up again her "Sunday Fundays," 12:00 to 2:00pm, every Sunday. The first session will be held on September 29th. The students will be working on a patriotic painting to "Honor our Veterans" where the students may leave their paintings to be included in the Veterans exhibit at KIFA. Sept. 25th through Oct. 27th.
