Attention all artists, Youth to Adult
Up Up and Away……….Covid Go Away

Help us decorate the windows of KIFA with original hot air balloon art.
Create  a 2 dimensional hot air balloon on paper, watercolor paper or on canvas you can cut into the shape of a balloon. We will hang your balloon on the inside of the windows at KIFA while we are closed during this pandemic.

Please make them no taller

than 18” or wider than 14”.
They can be smaller if you wish.
A drawing that you can use is attached.

Anyone one can submit a balloon,

member or non member, any age.
You can mail them to KIFA or drop them off on any Tuesday 12-3 or Saturdays 12-2 in November and December. If you know a director of KIFA you can give your balloon to them.

Please write your name, phone number and if you want your balloon back after the display ends on the back of your balloon. If you need a shape or idea you can check out

Thank you to our Judge - Wende Woodham

Thank you to all our KIFA Members, some who have been so for over 20 years, all our sustaining members who give each month,

and our Sponsoring Members.

We need your help to keep the Arts Alive in Our Community by your support! Please consider joining KIFA if you haven't already.

Looking to learn a new skill? A volunteer group is forming to share the grant writing at KIFA. Training is available. If grant writing is new to you, the winter is a good time to learn a new skill. Experienced grant writers are also welcome. KIFA has 5 major grants, and we need 5 volunteer grant writers to take one each. These grants all have samples from former years. Easy Breezy.

Send an email to info@kifa.us and we will contact you. Thanks.

Happy Thanksgiving!
We are grateful for Rick Strittmater. A great big thank you goes out to Rick of Queen Anne's Centre for the Arts (arts council) for a $5,000 Target Grant award. This funding replaces a loss in fundraising income due to the pandemic. The Board of Directors and KIFA members sincerely appreciate this award.
