Queen Anne's County Art Council
The
QACAC was founded in 1977 by a group of concerned citizens
who wanted to bring art and cultural events to Queen Anne's County. Its
mission and purpose is to promote, expand and sustain the arts in Queen
Anne's County.
Queen Anne's Chorale
Our mission is to enhance the lives of Bay Area residents through a
variety of quality choral music. We welcome adult and youth singers in
our community chorus and provide skills development in an atmosphere of
camaraderie.
Chesapeake Youth Chorale
THE place for young people ages 8-18 who enjoy singing.
Church Hill Theater
CHURCH HILL THEATRE, INC. is a performing arts center dedicated to the
creation and presentation of quality performance and educational
opportunities for all members of our diverse community. CHT maintains an
art deco theatre in association with state and local preservation,
heritage, and tourism organizations.
Chestertown Arts League
The Chestertown Arts League has been supporting the arts
and artists for over 60 years:
- Providing a forum for regional
artists mounting shows monthly in all mediums - judged, juried and open;
- Providing arts education with
classes and workshops, weekly life drawing and experiences as a curator.
Dorchester Arts Center
Formed in 1970, DAC is dedicated to enriching
Maryland's Eastern Shore community through high quality, engaging programming
in the visual, literary, musical and performing arts. As the designated County
Arts Council for Dorchester County, the Center for the Arts is
committed to increasing access to the arts for all members of our community by
supporting extensive outreach and educational opportunities in the arts.
Mid Atlantic Plein Air Painters Association
Through exhibition, workshops, and other special events, we
promote the appreciation of, and participation in the art of outdoor painting.
Muddy Creek Artists Guild
A roving band of intrepid artists and supporters whose mission is to
take responsibility for encouraging, supporting and promoting original
art of southern Anne Arundel County artists.
St. Michael's Art League
The Art
League's mission is to further the visual arts and bring art to our community. Members are encouraged to enhance their creativity, learn new
skills, share ideas with others interested in art, and support each others artistic
endeavors.
Academy Art Museum
The Museum offers a variety of classes including drawing, painting,
ceramics, printmaking, photography, watercolor, music and overall art
appreciation for adults through educational programs and performances in
its galleries and studios, and through outreach programs.
Historic Stevensville Art in the Park 2011
'Pocket Park' in Historic Stevensville will again be transformed into a
dazzling display of artistic mastery. Local and visiting artists will
show off their latest original creations including paintings, prints
photography, pottery, jewelry, sculpture, books, clothes and more.
Chesapeake Art League
C.A.L. is a non-profit art organization supporting local heritage, cultural and community services events.

Not strictly an art site, but lots of great local information and discounts.
Art East
The Artist Round Table which began on the eastern shore in 2001 filled a need for
artists of all media to network, critique and support each other. ART EAST is a
support group for living the creative life as well as a think tank to develop
artistic ideas. Outings are planned, paint outs and group shows along with
speakers and guest artists fill the agenda on a monthly basis. The meetings are
the last Tuesday of each month, 9:30 to 11:30 am at the Queen Anne's County
