Our Mission

KIFA seeks to develop and allocate resources to provide gallery and studio space, instruction, art shows and events for our members and the community.

Our programs continue to grow, offering ongoing art classes in various media, including; painting (water color and acrylic), children's art classes, wood carving, photography, precious metal clay, and more. We also have specialized workshops and summer camps for children and young adults. We continue to work with the county schools, offering scholarships to qualifying graduating seniors.
Our goal for the next decade is to to expand the cultural and artistic climate of Queen Anne's County by encouraging participation in, and promotion of, the visual and performing arts. We approach these goals through educational programs, exhibits, competitions, events, juried competitions and cooperation with the public schools, the Chamber of Commerce and other organizations.

Volunteers Needed
Making a difference, caring deeply about an issue, responding to the call of service, having fun, using a skill or developing a skill - these are just a few of the reasons why people volunteer.
KIFA is an all volunteer organization.
